BOOK CLUB
Be sure to order the annual Book Club books, Sacred Obsession by Becky Tirabassi, and The Costly Call by Emir Fethi Caner and H. Edward Pruitt, from the Women's Ministry office. You can encourage the women in your church to read the books, as well as start a book club in your neighborhood or community!
LEADERSHIP TIDBIT
At a recent leadership team meeting, we divided the team into two groups. Each group was given all the ingredients to make an easy salad (cool whip, sour cream, marshmallows, coconut, fruit, etc.), but they were not given the recipe. Together the group had to decide how much of each ingredient to use. While the groups enjoyed eating the salads they had made, we discussed how different strengths, weaknesses, personalities, previous experiences, and expertise of individuals on the teams all contribute to the planning process. The comparison can then be made regarding how we all work together in ministry! (A special "thank you" to Linda Crawford for this tasty ledership lesson!)

- Growing up in a Christian home provided me the opportunity to know a lot about God. But I am thankful my spiritual journey has not stopped there! I am now committed to knowing Him personally, serving Him passionately, and being continually transformed into the image of His Son, Jesus Christ.
